The Alaska Parent Information and Resource Center (AKPIRC) connects families and schools throughout Alaska to enchance the academic achievement of all students. Resources include downloadable parent involvement handouts, staff development toolkits, guidance documents for developing meaningful parent involvement polices and more!

EDUCATORS: AKPIRC can assist schools to coordinate and strengthen parental involvement activities required under No Child Left Behind.

Parent Workshops: Your School's Parent Involvement Policy
As part of Title I requirements, every Title I school must have a parent involvement policy (PIP) on file.  This workshop will provide parents an opportunity to become familiar with the PIP and provide feedback.
