AKPIRC’s Language and Cultural Liaison (LCL) program offers support to parents who are reluctant to partner with schools or who are limited English speakers, thereby overcoming significant barriers to parent involvement.  The LCL program involves parents through home visits, workshops, and ongoing communication with teachers and administrators.

 The LCL program is available in Anchorage and Yupiit School Districts.  If you are interested in developing an LCL program in your district AKPIRC has the resources available to help you with this.
